A new mobility scooter can cost from $3500 – $7000. Warranty varies from the different suppliers. Please feel free to discuss this with us.
Good Question! This really depends on your needs; do you need the scooter to climb up steep roads? Are you tall and therefore require a scooter with plenty of leg room? Or do you need a basket attached to carry your dog? The best way of matching a mobility scooter to your specific needs is to contact us and discuss your requirements. We would be happy to discuss your needs and help you choose.
Whilst mobility scooters can manage curbways they are not designed to drive up steps. Walk on Wheels has a selection of ramps available to purchase or rent.
If you are unable to visit us at our Penrose showroom we would be happy to bring a small selection of mobility scooters to your home to trial within the greater Auckland area.
If you take care of your mobility scooter keep it charged regularly and away from the elements maintenance should be minimal. Much like a car a regular annual service is recommended.
Mobility scooters are not regulated to be driven on the road in New Zealand.
